Dr. Rebecca Tiew

There had been another "doctor" working with Jessie, Dr. Rebecca Tiew, as a "Senior Nutritional Therapist". This picture was from the earlier November 2005 webpage, but has been removed now.

I was not able to find her doctoral thesis, nor any publications, under that name.

Hi matey, in case you haven't notice this, I highlighted your blog in my blog : http://howsy.blogspot.com/2005/12/prof-dr-jessie-chung-fakes-it-nonot.html
Hope that you won't mind. Also, a forum post was also discussing about this: http://bbs.buysell.net.my/bbs/showthread.php?t=19886
Keep up the good work here and hope that people will not misunderstand our intention is to disclose the truth and not in anyway to discredit her.

Thanks for listing my blog's addy on yours ... I am beginning to see that there is a network of like-minded people in Malaysia.

I will be drilling into the details of each and every degree she listed (assuming if the universities are not fly-by-nights and still exist), and present what I do know (and don't).

From what I've been told, she is going to tell and explain all ... but in her upcoming book. She is a real publicity hound, ain't she???

In the meantime, I will present my own theory and time lines, and present an factual account of the degrees.

It would help a lot also to brief the public the nutritional properties of her company's products. Most of them are just normal nutritional products which are available in their original form. Example are like soya milk, honey, propolis, goat's milk among other herbal products. God knows how many times expensive she will sell her products, almost portraying her products as miracle cures; claiming to cure breast cancer and Hepatitis B. Tell her I could even sh*t better eating more fruits and vege than eating her BioFibre.

Welcome and thank you Raymond.

Any help with directing readers here is appreciated. The longer Jessie takes to come clean, the more time I have to post my research ... I have tons of materials, mostly questions about the creditability of what she posted as her credentials. So far very little added up, except for her high school diploma.

Seems like Dr. Rebecca Tiew is in fact a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Malaya. A dentist - hence no doctoral and research publications.

Can BDS holders call themselves "Dr". In North America, dentists are awarded DDS. In Italy, every university graduate is call a "Dottore".

University of Malaya is a reputable and accredited university. Dr. Rebecca Tiew's website is at:
http://www.tiewdental.com/

She is also an ITEC accredited Diploma in Diet and Nutrition holder, however from which school is unknown - but it looks like a local school since there are oriental characters in the background.

See how easy it is to verify credentials if people are forthcoming with cooperation?

I do not mind to be proven wrong - in fact I want to be proven wrong since mistakes are part of the learning process.

Thanks Pierce, but I do not read nor write Chinese.

Regardless, the English title she gave herself is "Senior Nutritional Therapist" (sic - it really should say "Senior Nutrition Therapist" ... pretty bad grammar for a doctor, unless Dr. Rebecca Tiew is actually nutritional in content!!!).

Actually I can do the "lah" thing pretty convincingly. Just do not know how to punctuate with that however ... there must be so colloquial grammar that only time can teach.

There was another expression that was used unique to Malaysia, but I do not remember it anymore ... it made everything sounded very 60's with that.
